ORDERING

Q: What type of orders do you handle?
A: There are 2 ways to order thru us: Monthly or 1-Time

Comic Book Club (Monthly):
If you order comics on a regular basis - sign up for our Comic Book Club service for FREE and get the following benefits:

  • Special sales and promotions for members only

1-Time:
If you are not interested in ordering every month, but just want to purchase some items - just find the product you want and click on the shopping cart icon to add that item to your shopping cart and proceed with the checkout process when you're done.


Q: What ordering options or sections are there?
A: There are 3 ordering sections: Pre-Order, In-Stock, and Pre-Order Archive.

Pre-Order:
This section contains items you select and pay for in advance – most items are listed about 2 months before they are released to the public. You can find the estimated shipping date on our order form for most items as well as the item popup boxes.

In-Stock:
This section contains item we currently have available in our inventory - ready for immediate delivery.

Pre-Order Archive:
This section contains items that were offered previously and still may be available for ordering. We will notify you if an item is no longer available or you may contact us prior to placing your order to see if an item is still available.

Q: How can I place an order?
A: There are multiple way to place an order, choose whichever one suits your needs.

  1. Website – by using our online shopping cart:
    Just browse our site - the top navigation has our main sections, the side navigation has sorted groupings for the main sections, or you can use our search feature.
  2. Email – by filling out our Excel order form
    Just mark the quantity you want and email the order form to (nekosphere @ yahoo.com)

Q: Can I purchase items from the different ordering sections on the same order?
A: Absolutely! If you want to save money on shipping, you can also ask us not to ship your order until the entire order is filled or other requirements are met.

For example:
  • ship the in-stock items with my monthly pre-order shipment or
  • ship my in-stock item(s) once my special-order item has arrived.

Q: Can I change an order?
A: You may change your order for Pre-Order items up until the due date. You can NOT change your order for In-Stock items once your order is shipped. You can NOT change your order for Pre-Order Archive/Special-Order items once your order is processed.

Q: Do I receive any type of ordering confirmation / How do I make sure you have my order entered correctly?
A: If you place your order online, you will receive an automatic order confirmation via email. If you e-mail or your order, once we enter your order you will receive an order confirmation via email. Please check your confirmation for accuracy.

If there are any errors or if you have any questions, feel free to contact us using the form below - please include your order # if possible.

Q: Why is a single action figure listed at such a high price on your pre-order order form?
A: Some items, such as action figures and key chains, are only available by the unbroken case - mixture is not always guaranteed. If you are interested in ordering any items that are sold by the case - please contact us for additional information.

The action figures, and other similar items we have in-stock are generally available as singles.

Q: When is the due date for Pre-Order items?
A: The Due Date for Pre-Order items is the 25th of each month - 11:59PM PST, unless noted otherwise on the website due to holidays, etc.

Q: What if I submit my Pre-Order late?
A: You are welcome to place orders after the deadline. We can not guarantee all items will be available - if there are any items which are not available, we will notify you.

Q: Can I order Pre-Order items from previous months?
A: Yes, you can definitely order Pre-Order items from previous months - even after the item has been released to the public. If the item(s) are not available, we will notify you .

Q: How long are the monthly specials valid for?
A: Monthly specials are only valid until the due date for that particular month. For example: If "I Love Comics #1" is listed as 30% off in January as a special, but normally has a 25% discount. If you order it after January 25th - you will only get the standard discount of 25%.

Q: What if an item is late?
A: Somtimes Pre-Order/Special-Order items ship beyond their expected arrival date. If an item ships beyond its anticipated release date, those items will be shipped in your next shipment based on the shipping frequency you have chosen

Q: What if a Pre-Order or Special-Order item is cancelled?
A: If a Pre-Order/Special-Order item is cancelled - you will be given a credit for that item. If an item is being resoliciated(offered again at a later time) - make sure to order the item under the new code, it will not be automatically reordred.

Q: What condition are items in?
A: You can expect all Pre-Order/Special-Order items ordered to reach you in new mint/near mint condition – if we receive items from the distributor that you have ordered in less than satisfactory condition, we will request a replacement before we ship it out to you. This may delay your shipment depending on when we receive the replacement. If they are unable to send us a replacement – we will credit your account.

In-Stock items are in mint/near mint condition, unless specified.

Note: All regular sized comics can be bagged & boarded for only 15cents each to provide extra protection.

Q: What is your Return Policy?
A: Our distributors do not allow us to return any items we order, so unfortunately we can not allow for any returns from customers unless you meet one of the conditions below.

  1. You receive something you did not order.
  2. An item arrives damaged or defective.

Please do not return any items without first contacting us for Return Authorization.

Q: What if I don't like an item?
A: We can not guarantee you’ll like the story/art or other aspects of the product – if you are unsure about any item – we recommend that you do not order it. We prefer you be happy rather than making an extra buck. You can always try to order it at a later time once you’ve determined that it indeed is something you would like to purchase.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept the following:

  • Money Order
  • Personal/Company Checks - payable to NekoSphere (must clear before shipment)
  • Paypal (Paypal ID: nekosphere @ yahoo.com, please do not use spaces - that's to avoid SPAM)
    If you are using Paypal – you may also use their credit card or e-check payment options.

All funds must be paid in US Dollars

Q: When do I pay for the items I order?
A: If you are ordering In-Stock items ONLY – immediate payment is required.

If you are combining shipment of In-Stock items with Pre-Order or Special-Order items, please submit payment by the 25th of the month. We allow you to pay by the 25th so you can adjust your Pre-Order items as necessary. Special-Order and In-Stock items are NOT adjustable when combining shipping.

If paying by check or money order – payment must reach us by the 25th of the month.

Q: Where do you offer shipping to?
A: We ship world wide. International shipping prices are for small items like comics, dvds, small toys. For any large purchases like statues please contact us before placing an order to arrange shipping terms.

Q: How are my items shipped?
A: Most orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail, some are shipped via UPS Ground - mainly statues, etc. If you choose the $50 free shipping option - we use USPS Media Mail or USPS Bound Printed Matter for that promotion.

We use USPS Media Mail for shipment to any P.O. Boxes, APO's and FPO's.

** Oversized/Overweight items (e.g. posters, lithographs, and extra-sized statues) that do no fit in our regular shipping boxes will be charged additional shipping.

Q: Will I receive a packing list?
A: Monthly orders will receive a digital packing list to show the contents that should be in our shipment as well as the items that you’ve ordered but have not yet received. You should check your shipment against the packing list to determine that nothing is missing – report shortages immediately.

Q: Is there any tracking available on my shipment?
A:If your package is sent via Priority or Media Mail basic tracking is provided and you will be sent an e-mail when your package is released to the post office – if you have provided an email address. Packages mailed via UPS Ground will have tracking and will be emailed to you.

Q: Is my package insured?
A: Insurance may be purchased at an additional cost and is HIGHLY suggested for fragile items such as statues.

Q: What happens if my package is lost or damaged?
A: If your shipment is lost or arrives damaged - please let us know and we will contact the delivery company to determine what happened. We will attempt to get replacements if necessary. If a replacement is unavailable we will credit your account

Q: What discounts do you offer?
A: We offer 25% OFF on most comics and 15-25% OFF on almost everything else. We also have some Monthly Specials that are up to 75% off. These discounts are offered on Pre-Order, Special-Order, and even In-Stock items!

Q: Do you offer comic bags & boards?
A: Yes, for 15 cents per comic - we will bag & board your comics for you. We use Ultra Pro bags and Bill Cole boards.

Q: What shipping frequency options are there?
A: The following shipping frequencies are available:

  1. Monthly (Cheapest option)
  2. 2x / month (bi-monthly)
  3. 4x / month (weekly)
  4. When your order reaches a certain dollar amount that you feel would justify shipping charges.

Q: How much does it cost for shipping?
A: See the chart below for shipping costs - these charges cover one month's shipment of comics/books/magazines/dvds and is based on your order total for the month.

If you would like to have your comics/items shipped more frequently - please contact us.

If you order items that can't fit in your shipment, additional charges apply. For example: you order (50) comics and (1) statue - the comics and statue will be shipped seperately.

NOTE: This chart is for members who do not want the free media mail shipping option because it is slower.

Q: When will I receive my first Pre-Order shipment / What's the Delivery Schedule look like?
A: Receipt of your first Pre-Order shipment depends on what shipping frequency you choose. Remember that you are ordering items in advance – generally 2 months ahead of public release. See the chart below for an example of shipping times.

Once you begin ordering on a regular basis, you’ll essentially only be waiting 1 month for each order, instead of 2-3 months for the initial order.

Q: How does the Free $50 Shipping promotion work?
A: Order $50 or more of comics, books, magazines, or DVDs and your order will be shipped for FREE. Items will be shipped via USPS Media Mail.

If your order contains other types of merchandise (tshirts, toys, cards, etc) those will be shipped seperately with applicable shipping charges or can be shipped together at a reduced cost.

Q: How does the Free Local Delivery promotion work?
A: The Free Local Delivery promotion is ONLY for certain areas of San Francisco. If your order is over $100 we will deliver your items to you for FREE.

We only deliver to certain areas of San Francisco - please contact us to find out if you are eligible.

Q: How does the Referral Program work?
A: If you are or become a Comic Book Club member- you can earn an additional 5% OFF your next months order of comics if you refer someone else to become a Comic Book Club member with us. The extra discount will only be applied to comics that are not marked as specials for the month.

You can only apply this discount once per month for each person you refer. There is no limit to the amount of times you can refer a new member.

Q: How does the Free $50 Shipping promotion work?
A: The Free Shipping promotion is ONLY for Comic Book Club members, it is NOT available for 1-Time Orders. Order $50 or more of comics, books, magazines, or DVDs and your order will be shipped for FREE. Items will be shipped via USPS Media Mail.

If your order contains other types of merchandise (tshirts, toys, cards, etc) those will be shipped seperately with applicable shipping charges or can be shipped together at a reduced cost.

The promotion is processed manually - at this time our shopping cart system does not allow free shipping.

Q: How does the Free Local Delivery promotion work?
A: The Free Local Delivery promotion is ONLY for certain areas of San Francisco. If your order is over $100 we will deliver your items to you for FREE.

We only deliver to certain areas of San Francisco - please contact us to find out if you are eligible.

Q: How does the Referral Program work?
